Patriot Playground at Veteran’s Memorial Park, Green
Patriot Playground at Veterans Memorial Park in Green is a playground and an educational field trip all in one.
The playground has some great features honoring emergency service personnel like a pneumatic fireman's pole that our kids particularly enjoyed and rubber ladders. There is asoft rubber surface. It is ADA accessible with paved paths and a ramp leading up to the main playground structure. There is also a story walk loop around the playground on a paved path.
The park features a first-responders' memorial as well as a memorial to the fallen soldiers of Green. There are a lot of educational opportunities as you walk around the park and visit the various plaques.
If you'd like your kids to get their energy out and also have a little learning-this is the place!
Parking is in the fire station lot next door.
