Party at the Barn

Party At The Barn in Aurora is a fully immersive animal experience! Juliette is the amazing owner who watches over and shares her love for her animals with all her visitors. The farm has bunnies, emu, alpaca, kangaroos, chickens, ponies, a pig, and more! This is not your typical petting zoo- here visitors can feed, hold and cuddle all the fluffy friends! Party at the Barn has variable general admission hours but specializes in experiences like birthday parties, and special, as well as seasonal, events like their upcoming pumpkin patch and fall festival, photo shoots with the Easter Bunny and real bunnies, and visits with Santa.

The highlight for us was their Bunnyville; home to 104 cute and cuddly bunnies you can sit with, pick up, feed and love on! And if you do fall in love with one of their baby bunnies- you can take it home! They sell their babies. The Farm also sells fresh eggs for $4/dozen. There is a gem mine where kids can sluice for hidden treasure. The small bag starts at $8, we shared it amongst 4 small children and it was more than enough.

General admission is $15/child, 2 adults are free with each child. Food for the animals is sold separately. Check the website for available hours.

If you're looking for a specialized event, they have a great party space and will customize an experience with tons of different options.

Make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and if you're a germaphobe like me- definitely don't forget your hand sanitizing wipes! Remember that these are animals; little nibbles and scratches come with the territory. As a mom of 4, I definitely recommend keeping the kid-to-adult ratio in your party low, 2 of my children were apprehensive with the animals and needed a lot of assistance. One-on-one would have provided the best experience.
