Majestic Meadows
Majestic Meadows Alpacas & Boutique in Medina is a must-do if you have kids that love animals! They have all kinds of animals that you can get up close and personal with. There are alpacas, kangaroos, goats, sheep, pigs, camels, a tortoise, donkeys, cows and now capybara and otters! One of the highlights is that you can go in the kangaroo enclosure and pet the kangaroos, and one of the mamas just had an albino baby! Highly recommend buying a couple bags of feed (one per kid was more than enough for my little ones) as you can hand feed many of the animals including the alpacas, goats and camel. I found the sheep and goats to be little aggressive so use caution when entering those enclosures with babies or little ones. There some benches throughout but no picnic tables so bring a blanket if you plan to picnic. There are no restroom facilities but there are port-a-potties. There is at least one handwashing station so we made good use of our own hand sanitizer through the day.
They are open 7 days a week 10 am -5 pm and tickets must be purchased ahead of time online for $12.50 for ages 3 & up. 2 and under are free.
For an extra fee (and must be booked ahead of time), you can have a private cuddle session with the otters, porcupine and armadillo or the capybara!
