Waterworks Park
Waterworks Park in Cuyahoga Falls has much more than the Aquatics Center! Located in the park behind the pool is a lovely, BRAND-NEW-this-season playground! The playground is quite large and is inclusive! There are a few fun things that make this park unique. 1: There's a spinning rope swing that sends riders soaring! 2: It's right next to train tracks so you can occasionally see trains riding over the bridge. 3: This park is flanked by the Cuyahoga River (this is where you exit when floating the river so you'll see lots of people with bright floats exiting the river in season) and there's tons of great creek walking here! If you have little ones that like to get dirty, I suggest bringing a net and pale to catch small fish and tadpoles as they climb around the rocky river.
Water Works has plenty of shade, a pavilion with picnic benches, an indoor restroom facility and lots of parking. There are also baseball fields, the city waterpark and a dog park on the grounds.
