Akron Art Museum
The Akron Art Museum is FREE to visit ANY Thursday! If you're looking for something that gets your kids to use their creative side, explore their kids Open Studio area! Two giant rooms dedicated to sensory play, creative exploration & out-of-the-box thinking, your littles of any age will love all the activities available. My oldest's (7y) favorites were the nugget couch to make forts & the felt wall where we made so many little creations together. My youngest (1y) ran around touching each play station 37 times & enjoyed every second of it.
Walk through & see all the art for free as well once their energy is out! We parked in an easily accessible parking garage across the street & paid $3 for the hour. There is an elevator in the building to bring up strollers if needed. Such a fun experience!
